This Order (hereinafter – “Order No.80”) has incorporated changes to the List of Products Subject to Mandatory Certification in Ukraine as approved by order of the State Committee of Ukraine for Technical Regulation and Consumer Policy No. 28 of February 01, 2005.
The changes concern the following products: household electric appliances, gas spray guns, welding equipment, means of worker’s individual protection, fire sports and hunting weapons, hoisting cranes and vehicles. Some changes are of purely technical nature and only modify the commodity code as in the Ukrainian Classification of Commodities for Foreign Economic Activity. The most amendments replace the obsolete GOSTs for the newer standards dated 2003-2007. Especially many changes have been incorporated in the standards for automobile products and components thereof: 2002 European standards were replaced with their analogues passed in 2003 and 2005, and the Soviet time GOSTs have been cancelled completely.
The Order comes into effect staring on April 6, 2009.
