For the purpose of formation of the efficient structure of export and import of certain sorts of goods this Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has established:
1) general size of quotas of goods the export of which is subject to licensing;
2) the list of goods the import of which is subject to licensing;
3) the list of goods the export of which is subject to licensing;
4) the list of goods the export of which from the USA is subject to licensing and size of the quota;
5) the list of ozone-ruining substances the export and import of which is subject to licensing;
6) the list of products that may contain ozone-ruining substances the export and import of which is subject to licensing (except the items transported in containers with personal luggage);
7) the list of the States – parties of the Montreal Protocol - the export (import) of ozone-ruining substances to (from) which is allowed;
8) the list of certain categories of metal products the export of which to the States – members of the EU is subject to licensing and which are quoted;
9) the list of products (semi-finished products) from colored metals and alloys of colored metals the export of which is subject to licensing;
10) the list of goods the import of which from Republic of Macedonia is subject to licensing within the tariff quota in accordance with the regulations of the Agreement on Free Trade between Ukraine and Republic of Macedonia.
The Decree establishes that the remaining quotas for the year 2007, increase or decrease in size of quotas, determined in Annexes 4 and 8, may be utilized in 2008 in accordance with appropriate international agreements.
The licenses on export and import of goods not utilized in the year 2007 (determined by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Approval of the List of Goods the Export and Import of which is Subject to Licensing, and the Size of Quotas for 2007” No. 1852 dated by December 29, 2006) shall be valid till March 01, 2008 unless otherwise is stipulated by appropriate international agreements.
