For the purpose of formation of the efficient structure of export and import of certain types of goods this Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has established:
1) general sizes of quotas for goods the export of which is subject to licensing;
2) the list of goods the import of which is subject to licensing;
3) the list of goods the export of which is subject to licensing;
4) the list of goods the export of which to the USA is subject to licensing and size of the quota;
5) the list of ozone-depleting substances the export and import of which is subject to licensing;
6) the list of products that may contain ozone-depleting substances the export (import) of which is subject to licensing (except the items transported in containers with personal luggage);
7) the list of the parties to the Montreal Protocol - the export (import) of ozone-depleting substances to (from) which is allowed;
8) the list of products (semi-finished products) made of colored metals and alloys of colored metals and products containing the same metals the export of which is subject to licensing;
9) the list of goods the import of which from Republic of Macedonia is subject to licensing within the tariff quota in accordance with the provisions of the Agreement on Free Trade between Ukraine and Republic of Macedonia.
The licenses on export and import of goods not utilized in the year 2008 (specified by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1411 of December 29, 2007 “On Approval of the List of Goods the Export and Import of which is Subject to Licensing, and the Size of Quotas for 2008”) should be valid till March 01, 2009 unless otherwise provided for in relevant international agreements.
The Resolution comes into effect starting on January 01, 2009.
