By this Resolution, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the Licensing Procedure for certain types of economic activity in construction and defined general requirements to licensing certain types of economic activity in construction related to erection of architectural objects on the territory of Ukraine.
In connection with approval of the document, the licenses granted before January 1 2008 ð. are subject to re-registration.
According to the approved Procedure, licensing of construction activity is performed by the State Architect and Construction Inspection. The Inspection has been also authorized to exercise control over compliance with license terms and conditions.
This Procedure specifies that legal entity and individuals (private entrepreneurs) who intend to perform construction activity should be licensed.
For this purpose they should file to the State Architecture and Construction Inspection the license application, list of works related to erection of architectural objects, which the applicant intends to perform, copies of notarized registration documents, information on its production and technical base, staff information concerning professional and qualification levels, technology of production, information, legal, normative and technical support, availability of work quality control system, conclusions of the institution (organization) authorized to perform expert examination by the licensing authority.
License will be granted for five years and for three years to newly licensed applicants.
This Resolution takes effect since January 1, 2008.
