According to Law of Ukraine No. 3125-XII of April 22, 1993 "On Auditing" (as restated by Law No. 140-V of September 14, 2006), and towards organizing supervision over the quality of auditing services, the Audit Chamber of Ukraine resolved to approve the Temporary Procedure of Forming Authorized Supervisor Group.
ACU, in this Procedure, has established that the Committee for Supervision over Auditing should directly organize and ensure external examinations of quality control systems of audit firms and auditors (hereinafter – “the external examinations”). The Committee for Supervision is entitled to invite both its staff and auditors-supervisors of the Authorized Supervisor Group to perform external examinations.
